MCLENNAN COUNTY, TX — One person was killed, and four people were hurt in a major crash that happened in McLennan County, Texas on Friday, April 4th, 2014, according to a report from KWTX.
Representatives from the Texas Highway Patrol have said that they believe 42-year-old John Bumgardener was killed when the car he was driving collided with a vehicle after drifting into the lanes of oncoming traffic while driving on Highway 6 just before midnight.

John Bumgardener was pronounced dead on the scene. James and Annalysa Esquivel as well as Daisy Jaimes were all injured in the accident and taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center for the treatment of his injuries.
The investigation is being handled by officials from the Mclennan County Sheriff’s Department.
