Waynesville, MO – Joshua Wood was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision in Waynesville on Sunday, December 6th, 2015. The accident happened around 6:15 pm.
According to the police report, 46-year-old John Findley was driving a 2016 Toyota Tundra southbound along Highway 17 when he attempted to overtake a slower vehicle. As he crossed into the oncoming lane, the Tundra collided with an oncoming 1999 Toyota Tacoma, driven by 31-year-old Wood.
Wood sustained serious injuries and was taken to Mercy Springfield.
His two passengers, 31-year-old Tabitha Skala and 2-year-old Arrah Skala incurred minor injuries.
Investigation is ongoing.
