Pulaski County, MO – Lelan Washington was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision in Waynesville on Friday, December 18th, 2015. The accident happened around 7:00 pm.
According to the police report, 19-year-old Washington was driving a 2005 Dodge Neon westbound along Interstate 44 when the drive allegedly failed to observe slowed traffic and struck the trailer portion of a Ford F-150, driven by 66-year-old Donald Caldwell.
Washington sustained serious injuries and was taken to General Leonard Wood for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities are still looking into the specifics of the incident.
